Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London on Friday, September 15, 2017 at the age of 89 years. Beloved mother of Donald Baxter (Karen), Claudine Wands (George), and Jeffrey Baxter (Jean). Stepmother of Eric, Crys, Heidi, Ron and Barbara Gisin. Grandmother of Sandra Whitford (Cary), Jarret Wands (Alisha), Douglas Robinson (Nickie), Ben Wands (Amanda), Katherine Sutter (Patrick), Victoria Wands, Jeffrey Baxter (Kelly), Kristin Escalona, and Alex Baxter. Great grandmother of 9. Predeceased by spouses Donald Baxter, Eduard Gisin, and dear friend Otto Biskaborn. Brothers James, Alex, Jeffrey, John, Frederick, and Brian Leatherland. Sisters Margaret Gallinger, Moira Brunskill, Martha, Sheila, and Karen Leatherland and grandson George Wands. Servived by brothers Kenneth and Ronald Leatherland and sister Carolynne Worrell, brothers-in-law Glen Gallinger and Carm Brunskill, sisters-in-law Elizabeth, Shirley and Joan Leatherland. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements made by Affordable Funeral Options Inc. (www.affordablefuneraloptions.ca). Cremation has occurred. Internment at Woodland Cemetery next to Ed. A Celebration Of Life will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 1-4 PM at Sunningdale Golf and Country Club, 465 Sunningdale Rd. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
