I am sorry and saddened to hear about the death of 'ome' George. Amazing how time slips away. My first visit to Canada was in 1980 but it really feels like yesterday. The memories of my stays in London - also with Yvonne and Frank - will always stay in my mind. I remember George as a very sportive man: bowling and tennis on one and the same day and even then afterwards he went down to the basement and said in half Dutch, half English 'even mijn exercises doen'. Remembering ome George I also see another great and brandnew car on the driveway in Weston Street. It was a pleasure to have known him. To Tilly, Michael, Sheila and the rest of the family I would like to express my deepest sympathy with this loss of your loved husband, father, 'opa' and friend.
