Matt will be remembered by his bright warm smile and wonderful sense of humour....right up until the end of his life, he would light up the room. Everyone loved him at Goodlife. He will be missed by many staff and members. RIP

I worked with Matt for many years. He was always quick with a witty pun or joke. Very much willing to go the extra mile when he could to help. I had hoped when I stopped seeing him at work that he'd taken a well deserved break and retired My condolences to his family. Matt was a great guy and will be very much missed.

I first met Matt in 1996 while working for Blackburn Magazine Group. Matt was a great guy, always smiling, full of life with a lot of positive energy. Matt was kind, thoughtful and always willing to go the extra mile for everyone. Although I have not seen Matt in a few years, I will always remember him with a smile. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

I was heartbroken to hear of Matt's passing. He and I worked together for many years. His calmness under pressure, his voice of reassurance and his perfectly timed jokes helped to get thru the most chaotic stressful days in the printing business. After I retired and moved out of province 3 years ago we stayed in touch via texts. Wished each other Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and exchanged birthday greetings during this time. We were both fans of the Packers and would text each other during games praising our team or cursing out their lackluster performance. Matt knew his football. From coaching minor football to the NFL and to college football. He was a kind, soft spoken teddy bear of a guy. He was a loyal and dedicated employee and was highly thought of by staff and customers. One of the good guys and I will miss him dearly. My condolences to his family and friends. He was truly one of a kind.

I worked with Matt for 5 years, he was funny and neurotic and if you were lucky you could find his mischievous side. He had quite a huge encyclopedia knowledge of rock and metal music. He hid his punk rock soul. He could drive you crazy with his perfectionism but win you over with his charm. He will be missed.
