I could always pick up the phone and ask a question about gardening. Flowers, vegetables, house plants, and Ursula always had the answer. Or she could steer me in the right direction. She could help with either my knitting project or some sewing. In the last months, I was able to help her with a few things. I will miss just picking up the phone, and giving her a call. I will really miss her.

Ursula was a lovely and personable woman who put up with us London Pacers invading her and Richard’s beautiful North London home! She will be greatly missed by all, but remembered for her friendliness and charm. Condolences and all of the best to Richard, the Bird clan, and Ursula’s family. -Andrew Jones

Rick and family. We share in your sorrow in the loss of a loving, talented woman. Ursula was creative, kind, generous, fun, and funny. She could be counted on for her dry wit and mischievous eyes. She was warm and welcoming. She loved her family and was deeply committed to her grandchildren. She could knit, sew, cook, and make beautiful pottery. She also baked the best cookies. We dearly loved her, and she will forever be missed.
