Q: What will you never forget about Beverley?
A: I have lots of fond memories of Beverley, as our librarian, at Duffield P.S. growing up together with Lisa and Sara. She was kind, humorous and very influential educator. She was best known to me as Lisa’s mom.
Childhood memories that are unforgettable. One cherished memory was about ten years ago when Marcella, Sandi, Lisa and I visited with Pete and Beverley one afternoon. We were catching up with our lives since public/high school completed. I felt a warm welcoming pride from Beverley that day. I realized that she always truly cared how all of us turned out. She was a constant in our school life and she watched all of us grow up. She was a one of a kind person.

Bev & Pete were among our closest friends for over 70 years, & since we moved to the Niagara area, we maintained our close friendship.
I still remember those Friday nights when Pete would arrive home with a number of his office pals. Of course Bev would be the perfect hostess, but would put a limit on the event. As they say, “. Those were the days” !
Today, our thoughts are with Sara & Lisa who’ve provided the love & support over the past years.
Great memories,
Bob Eby
