Obituary of Donald Bruce Crocker

Please share a memory of Donald to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

With heavy hearts, we announce that Don Crocker crossed the finish line. Affectionately known as Bubba, Donny, and Big Sexy, Don earned a checkered flag on March 13, 2025, much too soon, at the age of 67. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose life was defined by his passions for drag racing, motorcycles, hot rods, and billiards.

Born on November 24, 1957, in Tillsonburg, Ontario. Don was a man who lived life to the fullest. His love for racing, motorcycles, and hot rods kept him in the fast lane, whether it was cheering on his kids racing down the track or cruising on the open road. His ability to fix, create, and ride with the best of them was unmatched.

In addition to his need for speed, Don enjoyed the strategic and competitive nature of billiards, where he spent countless hours honing his skills and sharing good times with friends and family. A giant teddy bear and giver of the best hugs and fist bumps, Don was outgoing, never meeting a person he couldn’t make a friend with his infectious smile. Life of the party, Don also never turned down a good nap! Cracking jokes and winking his way to the end of the road, his sense of fun was ever-present.

Loving husband to Kim for 41 years, proud father to Jessica (Tim) and James and a devoted grandfather to Noah (NooAhhh),  Ariana (Chicken Butt), Natalie (Natalie McGillicuddy),  and Kaelen (Turd Bird) whose love meant everything to him. Don was a cherished son of Beverley Crocker (predeceased by his father William Crocker) and a big brother to Bill Crocker (Gloria), Cindy DeBlaire (Darrell), and Jenn DeBlaire (Kevin). To his friends, he was Donny, a term of endearment that reflected his kind and approachable nature, and Big Sexy, a nickname that matched his larger-than-life personality and charm.

Don was not just defined by his hobbies but by his incredible heart. His wit, laughter, and willingness to lend a hand made him a friend to many. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his generosity, and his unshakable loyalty to those he loved.

A celebration of his life will be held on a future date, which will be announced later.
