Obituary of Beverley Dorothy Lacelle
Beverley D. Lacelle (nee Thompson), a vibrant and fun-loving soul, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025 at the age of 75 after a long and courageous battle surrounded by friends and family. She lived life to the fullest, always embracing adventure, laughter, and the joy of being active. She excelled and loved golfing with her friends and husband Marc. Her energy and warmth were felt by all who knew her.
The beloved wife and best friend of Jean-Marc Lacelle (Marco), she shared 31 years of marriage. She was the only child of her late parents, John Thompson and Dorothy Desmarchais. She leaves behind her stepdaughter Lynne Bennett (Stephen Brown), her step grandchildren Christopher Dorrow (Denise Beliveau) and Ashley Dorrow (Christopher Elliott) and great-grandchildren Daxton and Hudson. So many special thanks to all her wonderful friends, devoted neighbors, caregivers and outstanding doctors who made her journey so comfortable and very special.
A private family gathering to celebrate her life will be held at a later date in Ottawa. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
