Brent and I met back when we were 18 and 19 and have been great friends since. He disappeared from my life for 10 years but we got back in touch a year ago and ever since had spoken almost daily and seen each other a few times a week up until a couple days before his passing, which for me is going to be life altering. I’m so glad the picture of him and Bryan in the suspenders is on here because it’s one of my favourites and I know it was his too. His love for his brother was very strong and I know he wished for things to be different in the end with them but as he told me he accepted this was his life and it was what it was. I only wish he saw in himself what I saw in him and wish he knew things could have been different. The love and time he spent with Oakley was remarkable and their bond unbreakable. He was so worried something might happen to him and what would happen to her. Tammy, Bryan and family and friends I’m so very sorry for the loss you’re going thru. Please find comfort in knowing I’m a better person to have called Brent a close friend and I’ll always keep his name and memory alive in any way I can. GBNF

Sending my deepest condolences to the family, especially Tammy, Bryan and Hannah. Brent was a loving uncle to Hannah and always showed his love towards her. I am grateful to have reconnected with him over the last year and catch up on life. He gracefully helped me with lots of schoolwork and input. Gone far too soon. He was always kind and had a smile. He will be remembered and despite some of his struggles he left an impact on all of our lives. Sending my thoughts and prayers to the family.

Brent was my lifelong friend. I met him in grade 9 and I’m now 43 years old. Even despite some issues that he had, He was smart as a whip, I will cherish all my memories of him.My thoughts are with his family who are wonderful xx
