Obituary of Elizabeth Jane Woodcroft
Elizabeth Jane (Betty) Woodcroft (nee Storey)
Betty passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday April 8 in her 91st year. Betty was a loving and beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who left an impression of great humour, kindness and love on everyone she met.
Betty will be deeply missed by John (Jack), her husband of 67 years, daughters Sandra Crawford (Andy) and Kim Woodcroft and grandchildren Jeffrey Crawford and Emily Gleason (Mitch). She will be sadly missed by her sister Marlene Brenner (Bill) and Marlene’s children David, Pam, Doug and Cathy and their spouses and children. She will also be greatly missed by Jack’s surviving siblings Paulette Bakelaar (John), Dolores Woodcroft and Bart Woodcroft (Bernie) and numerous nieces and nephews in the Woodcroft family. Betty is predeceased by her brother Harry Storey, mother Hazel Mitchell and father George Storey.
Betty liked nothing more than laughing and enjoying time with family and friends, and she would be pleased to have you remember her that way.
