A wonderful woman who was so proud of her family, generous with her friends and a joy to spend time with. She embraced life with optimism and was always ready to go on an adventure. I miss her companionship. Health issues prevent me from sharing my memories in person but I send sincere condolences to all of her family.

I first met Gwen while walking around the park in Byron and our walking groups seemed to meet at the same time at Robin’s doughnuts. From there we moved our “meeting after walking coffee” to others spots and for several years gathered at Tim’s. Over the years this great group of ladies went on day trips and theatre dates and I remember doing some quilting at Gwen’s too. We got to know her family through her and watched grandchildren marry and then, in turn, new great grandbabies arrive. She was so proud of all of you. We felt that we knew you all. She really wanted to include us in her life. I am sorry we can not be there to celebrate Gwen. I have so many memories of her and I celebrate them all. These are my/our treasures. With this Barry and I send deepest condolences for the loss of your Mom, grandmother and great grandmother and my dear friend. Linda Sampel

Patti, Doug and family, I remember hearing many stories of your Mom and what an amazing and caring woman, mother, grandmother and great grandmother she was.
