Obituary of Arlene Ruth Thompson

Born January 19th, 1950  Died May 1st, 2025

Loving wife of the late William Thompson.  Loving Mother to Franz Thompson and Cindy Thompson.  Loving Grandmother to six grandchildren.  Arlene was a devoted bus driver to the City of London for 41 years, starting her career on November 2, 1979 until June 30th, 2021 and loved by many who would enter her bus.  She was a nature lover and always adored being outside in her garden, watching the birds and the beautiful blossoms that would come up every spring, letting her son know everytime there was a deer in her backyard.  She was a woman of wonder collecting stones from every beautiful place she would visit remembering each moment with each one she had, remembering who she was with and where she was when she got it.  She lived her life to the fullest of her abilities and never took anything for granted.  She believed that what we leave behind is not as important as how we lived. She would remind us to cherish each and every moment as it will never come again.
