Obituary of Kenneth (Kenny) Christian Jongeneelen

Kenneth Christian Jongeneelen, affectionately known as Kenny, passed away suddenly on June 17, 2025, at the age of 63. Kenny was born in London Ontario and lived in Strathroy, Ontario. Kenny leaves behind a legacy defined by his vibrant personality, incredible craftsmanship, and unwavering love for those closest to him. Kenny was the beloved spouse of Carolynn Jongeneelen, who stood by his side through life’s many adventures. He was born to Ken Jongeneelen (predeceased) and Riet Jongeneelen. Kenny grew up with three loving sisters: MaryAnne and her spouse JohnTimmermans, Dianna and her late spouse Fred Hanz, now with Sid Gerryts, and Yvonne and her spouse Kurt Wigle. Beloved son-in-law of David (predeceased) and Marge Waller and brother in-law David Waller. Kenny cherished his nieces and nephews: Anne Marie, Paul, Andy, Samantha, Kaitlyn, Justin, and Marcy, who enriched his life with their love and laughter.

A master of his trade, Kenny was a talented cabinet maker and the proud owner of Custom Cabinet Design, where his passion for woodworking found its true expression. His dedication to
his craft was matched only by his love for life’s simpler joys. Kenny found great fulfillment in hobbies such as boating, cooking, and barbequing, creating moments of joy and connection for
all who shared these experiences with him. He also had a special bond with his canine companions, embracing the role of "dog dad" with pride and devotion.
Kenny was larger than life, a man whose presence lit up every room he entered. His boundless energy, infectious laughter, and generous spirit touched the lives of many, and he will be dearly
missed by everyone who knew him.

As we mourn the loss of Kenneth Christian Jongeneelen, we celebrate the memories and legacy he leaves behind—a legacy that will forever be etched in the hearts of his family, friends,
and all those fortunate enough to have known him. Rest in peace, Kenny. You will always be remembered with love and gratitude. A service will be held at Holy Trinity St Stephen’s Memorial Church, 727 Southdale Rd. E., London Ontario N6E 1A9 on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 10:30am. Online condolences and memories and photography shared at
