Obituary of Cynthia Marie Kostiuk

CYNTHIA (Cindy) MARIE KOSTIUK  (1958 – 2025)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sister, Cynthia Marie Kostiuk on Thursday, July 10th, 2025 in London, Ontario.  Cindy was born in Niagara Falls, ON on September 30th, 1958. She was the third child of Alec (2004) & Esther Elizabeth Kostiuk (nee Foss) (2019).  Cindy is survived by her brother Alec (Andy) Kostiuk  & his wife Tammy and daughter Andraea, Beverly Ott, husband Jack and their children and grandchildren, Shayla & Jason Emery, Christa, Fiona, Elijah & Briella, Natalie & Carlo Raponi, Valerie & Jack, and Nolan & Jordanna Ott, Ridge.  And Sister Karen Hunter and her sons Logan and Caleb. Predeceased by sister Deborah (Debbie) Kostiuk (December 2023) and survived by her children, Cody & Tiara Arnold, Avery, Brandi & Bryan Burke, Caden & Kenley.  Also predeceased by brother Michael Ernest Kostiuk  (June 1984).  Cindy is also deeply missed by her lifetime friend, Robert Ellis and his brother Jim Ellis and daughter Michelle.  Cindy spent her adult years living and working in London, Ontario. In early years she enjoyed travelling and recently fell in love with a little puppy named Bella. Cindy loved and cared for her family and friends. 

Cindy attended John Marshall Public School, Princess Elizabeth (Gr 7 & 8) and A.N. Myer SS. She loved sports and excelled at many. She was named the top female athlete in high school and played on many baseball and hockey teams in Niagara Falls. Cindy worked at Imgredion in London, ON (formerly Casco) as a Process Operator for over 40 years. 

Cremation and a private service will take place at a later date. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Niagara Falls, ON.  Online tributes and condolences may be made at www.funeraloptions.ca
