Paul Joseph Young
December 7, 1947 – July 16, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Paul Joseph Young at his home on July 16, 2025, at the age of 77. Paul was a beloved brother to Joan Kierans (Young) and Mary Margaret Johnston (Young), and a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Margaret Young and sisters, Carol Hutcheson (Young) and Betty Ann Lamport (Young).
In his younger years, Paul had a deep love for horses and hockey, passions that brought him much joy throughout his life. He will be fondly remembered for his infectious sense of humour, which brought laughter and light to those around him.
As per Paul’s wishes, there will be no formal service. The family will gather privately at a later date to celebrate his life. In memory of Paul, donations may be made to Whispering Hearts Horse Rescue:
