Obituary of Anne Elizabeth Unick

It is with great sadness and fond remembrance that our family announces the passing of Anne Unick (nee Hardy) surrounded by love and family on August 11, 2025. To live life to the fullest in her memory, she is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 35 years, Tom, daughter Meghan, son-in-law Leo and her granddaughter Athena, for whom we are so happy she got to meet and cherish during her first year of life. She is predeceased by her parents, Ronald and Betty Hardy as well as her beloved son Spencer Unick, with whom she will be joyfully reunited. Her family lives on through her brothers David and Mark, sisters in law Simone and Jessie, niece Brittany and nephews Adam and Timothy.

Our family would like to thank all of those who came to visit and support us in-person, with a special and most grateful thank you to Mom’s best friend Maureen Clapper, sister in law Simone and brother David for their live-in support, encouragement and the joy they provided during this difficult time. A celebration of life in Anne’s honour will be held in Markham, Ontario at a later date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, we welcome donations to the Canadian Cancer society as a positive force for good.
