Obituary of Kenneth Edward Armstrong

We are saddened to announce the passing of Ken Armstrong at age 73, on September 5 th 2025. He is survived by his loving wife June Armstrong (McCracken) of 52 years, son Corey Armstrong, daughter Lana Hodgins (Ryan Kaitting), and his grandchildren Reece Windsor, Emillia Armstrong, Ella Windsor, Justine Armstrong, Quinn Hodgins.

Ken was known as an avid reader, consuming at least two books a week and superior euchre player…well to himself at least! Ken loved to socialize with family, and friends. He loved sharing all of his stories with his new friends at the campground. As a grandpa, he was always available to teach his grandchildren the mischief that they hadn’t thought of themselves yet and took every opportunity to show them “good” music, such as Bad to the Bone by George Thorogood and Wild Thing by The Troggs.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday September 27 th starting at 11am-2 pm at Casey’s Park Campground, 333585 Plank Line Salford ON.  We are keeping it light and informal. Bring a drink, a snack will be provided, share a story or just come and visit. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, small donations will be accepted to help pay for a Memorial Tree and Plaque and Grandkids education.
