Linda Rose Schley (née Nolan)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda Rose Schley.
Linda departed peacefully on the afternoon of October 12, 2025 at home with her family present. Linda is finally free from the debilitating symptoms of stage 5 Parkingson's disease.
Linda was born May 9, 1952 in Kenora,ON. She was adopted at age 2 by John and Vivian Nolan. Linda had a very loving and close relationship with her father which she carried with her for the rest of her life. She had 4 adoptive brothers, 3 biological brothers and a sister.
She is lovingly remembered by her son Brad, daughter Brittany and her husband of 47 years Terry. Also mourning her loss are her extended family, friends and neighbours.
Linda had an infectious smile and boisterously contagious laugh. It was in her DNA to make people laugh. She had a wonderful and sometimes outspoken sense of humour. During Linda's 15 year career at Ernest Avenue Rexall, her customers and colleagues always left each interaction with her with a smile on their face.
Linda had a way with words. She spent most mornings doing crossword and wordsearch puzzles. She enjoyed playing cards and games, but she excelled at playing scrabble and was almost unbeatable. She was an avid reader of fictional mystery and crime novels.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Salt Haven or the London Humane Society in honour of causes close to Linda’s heart.
