Obituary of Pamela Betterley

Pamela (Pam) Betterley (nee Davies), in her 101 st year, of London, Ontario passed away on November 11 th 2025 at Home. As per Mom’s wishes there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Private family interment at Pond Mills Cemetery, London, Ontario. 

Pam was born in Liverpool, England to Ellen Irene Davies (Kilby) and Cyril Davies on September 20 1925. She immigrated to Canada with her mother in 1948. Pam will be lovingly missed by her son’s and their spouses, Mike (Barb) Nilestown, Ontario, David (Sherry) Belmont, Ontario, Brian (Louise) Belmont, Ontario. As well as Grandmother to Samantha (Richard) Belmont Ontario, Chris (Anna) Nilestown, Ontario. Gigi to Aurelia and Bracken. Niece Sue (Ian) Rowe England. Friends Ellen and Frank Farnsworth, Orillia and Carol and Dan Carroll, Belmont. Also survived by her fur friend Casey. She is preceded in death by her Husband Carl, Grandson Joe, Mother Ellen, Brother Roy.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all the PSW’s, Nurse’s, and Dr’s whom allowed Mom to stay in her home till the end. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

An Amazing Life
From far away a Liverpool Town,
Mom was born under the Royal Crown,

She lived near the Beatles and survived a world War 
Then moved to a new country and opened a new Door.

She met our father and a family was Born
Had 3 boys that we were sometimes a Storm

A grandma named "Gigi"  the grandchildren Adored
A life that was amazing, not to be Bored

She traveled this country and many camping Trips
Managed to keep us all together, she glowed like an Eclipse 

Mom stayed with us and lived a amazing 100 years,
We all have sadness but for Mom, we give her Cheers,

As we say goodbye and remember her great Life,
We all love you and know this mom,
You did everything Right.
