Wheels of Hope is the Canadian Cancer Society's volunteer-driven transportation program, offering free or low-cost rides for cancer patients to treatment appointments, using volunteer drivers in their own vehicles for a ride-sharing service. To use it, patients typically need a referral, must be able to get in/out of a vehicle without full assistance (or bring an escort), and register by calling 1-888-939-3333 or visiting the Canadian Cancer Society website. It's for those with no other transport options, with a small annual fee for new patients (waivers available).
