Obituary of Dr. Patrick Joseph Connor
On January 18, 2026, Dr. Patrick Joseph Connor passed away, in London, Ontario. Born in May 1959 in London, Pat was a lifelong pillar of the London community, and lived a life defined by generosity, humour, and a bright, steady spirit.
Pat was the youngest of Anne and Martin Connor’s six children, and in his final days, he spoke of what good parents he had been given. He was a proud continuation of their legacy; he shared in his mother’s gift for joy and resilience, and in his father’s ability to make an impact on everyone around him, even if they only met once.
Pat was the identical twin of Stephen, and the bond between them was central to his life. Between their shared love of running, annual camping trips, and shared animated personalities, their twinship was unmistakable—strong, affectionate, and enduring.
A chiropractor for over 30 years in London, Pat was deeply respected and genuinely loved by his patients. He believed strongly that care should be accessible to all, and he practiced accordingly.
Pat was an avid athlete and a long-time member of the London Pacers Running Club. He completed over 100 marathons, including many Boston Marathons, with his most recent—the Dam Hill Marathon—run in September. He loved swimming, and served as a scuba dive master, where his calm teaching approach earned him the nickname “Patient Pat”.
Pat is survived by his siblings Susan, Maureen, Mary, Michael, and Stephen, and several nephews and nieces. He will be missed by family and the many friends, runners, and patients whose lives he touched.
He will be remembered for his faith, his generosity, his devotion to health and activity, and the joy he brought so naturally into every room. Now, as he rejoins God, Heaven will be brighter for having him.
Visitation will be held at O'Neil Funeral Home 350 William Street London on March 15th, 2026 from 1 - 4 pm and at St. Michael's R.C. Church from 10 - 11 am on March 17th. A Funeral Mass will take place on March 17th, 2026 at 11 am at St. Michael's R.C. Church 511 Cheapside Street, London, Ontario. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, London, Ontario. Reception following at the church.
