Obituary of Larry Dennis Roux

Larry Dennis Roux, of London Ontario, formerly Kelowna British Columbia, passed away unexpectedly on January 24, 2026 at the age of 70.

Larry was born in Outlook, Saskatchewan on September 9, 1955 to parents Lawrence Henry Roux and Jessie Mildred Roux (Anderson) as the youngest of seven children. He graduated from Kelowna Secondary School in 1972. On January 25, 1991, he married Patricia Dawes in Whitehorse, Yukon and were married for 35 years. For 25 years he worked as a Breakfast Cook then changed occupations to become a Custodian for the Thames Valley District Schoolboard for over 20 years and the last 8 years as the Charge Custodian for Sherwood Fox Public School in London, Ontario.

Beloved husband to Patricia “Trish” Roux, Father of Curtis Roux and Craig Roux, Grandfather to Ruby, Zannah and Griffin Roux, Brother to Viola Roux and Merrill Roux.

He was predeceased by parents Lawrence Henry Roux and Jessie Mildred Roux, and his siblings, LaVern Roux, Mildred Farnia (Roux), Wayne Roux and Calvin Dale Roux.

Larry’s favourite past times were nature hikes, camping, fishing, canoeing, horseback riding, tinkering with computers, playing cards, and his most favourite thing in the world was reading. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Trish Roux and his brother in law, Tim Dawes.

A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at their place of residence at #94-275Callaway Rd. on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
