Amy was one of the kindest and most genuinely positive people I’ve known — truly a glass-more-than-half-full kind of person. We’re the same age, but she seemed so much wiser than me! I admired her. Some of the perspectives she shared will stay with me.

I met her through pickleball, and we quickly formed a super fun group of four. I’ll always remember the laughing (and a bit of cursing), and largely “celebrating” everyone’s amazing shots.

I didn’t know her for a long time, but I feel lucky that I did. She left a lasting impression on me.

We met in the summer of 1986. I had the honour and privilege to be her boyfriend for a year and a half. Even after that we remained friends. Just within the last 10 years, we ran into each other again and had the opportunity to communicate on and off over the years about our kids, our incredible spouses, and life in general. Amy will always have a part of my heart.my thoughts go out to Jamie and her boys.

She was always fun to hang out with. Her laugh and smile would light up a room. I was blessed when she became my friend!
