Obituary for Gérald “Jerry” Lamontagne
It is with broken hearts that we announce that Gérald “Jerry” Lamontagne passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, June 7th, 2026, at the age of 79.
Jerry was the beloved husband of Dianne (Mason) and devoted father to Joshua (Lisa), and Aaron (Marisa). He was the proud and loving pepère of his cherished granddaughter, Acadia.
He is also remembered by his former wife, Judy White, mother of Aaron.
Jerry was the older brother to his siblings John (Shirley), Dani (Barb) and Rosanne Rumsby (Rick).
He was predeceased by his parents, Armand and Marguerite Lamontagne.
Jerry was the owner of Backnine Group since 1984, a role he maintained throughout his life.
Jerry’s faith in his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, was an important part of his life and brought him peace and strength.
A celebration of life will be held August 15th from 12 - 4 pm at Font Hill Legion 141 Hwy 20 E, Font Hill, Ontario.
