Terry was so full of life and fun. He touched everyone he met. Cheryl and I went out to Popeyes a favourite fast food place of theirs. The cashier asked where Terry was and was so stricken, she came around the register to give Cheryl a hug. Then as we were eating our meal, another worker came into the restaurant. The cashier had called him at home as it was his day off and he came in immediately just to share his condolences in person. They had a bond too.
Loved to see Cheryl and Terry making each other laugh. They were so good for each other.
We will miss him. RIP Terry
Donna and Hermann

I met Terry a few years ago when Cheryl and I reconnected through similar circumstances. I saw a kind, funny, compassionate and intelligent man who loved life. Knowing Cheryl for over 50 years, I saw the love and happiness they shared. Cheryl, I am always here for you.

Terry was a wonderful friend of ours for 25 years. We first met him as our real estate agent when we moved to London and became close friends. Our deepest sympathies go out to Cheryl, Heather, Laura and their families, Terry spoke so lovingly of his family many times over a cup of coffee. A more genuine, sincere friend that was always there for you, well that was Terry, he will always be in our hearts.

Terry and I first met through the SLR program some ten years or so ago. I recall that he was a popular class moderator and facilitated many wonderful talks within our discussion groups. He had a way of working the class so that everyone could be involved and all sides were presented. He was the leader for posing the “what if” or “suppose” questions to generate more conversation. No one could hold a candle to his fairness, objectivity and friendly manner in those classes.
In 2018 we both joined a men’s mental health study group led by Marnin Heisel. Once again his interest in listening to others would shine through. He demonstrated repeatedly his trait of being a great ‘people’ person. He calmly commanded the interest and respect of others.
Our G7 lunch group started prior to COVID and has met monthly, usually over lunch. Terry was a valuable member. We loved his company and interest in all subjects and especially his concern for the well being of all members of our gang.
Whether it be group discussions, informal lunches or simply a chat at home over coffee I will cherish those memories and the opportunities that I had with Terry. I am lucky to have made such a great friend.

Hi Cheryl and family, Sincerest sympathies to all. As a fellow Realtor, I knew Terry first to be kind, very knowledgeable, and not afraid to say something when needed to be said. Jeff and I had a chance to know you both a little better on an Oliver trip. Jeff still remembers you both today (as I) and had great memories and fun. He definitely made a positive difference for many. Sincerest sympathies to all. Sue Fulop & Jeff Rosser.

Terry was a longtime friend. I met him at SLR (Senior Learning in Retirement, London, CA) . He was an active participant in the group discussions, moderating and giving presentations. Then we had a small social group of 7, whom we called "the G7". We went to the Monthly luncheons at different restaurants. We enjoyed good, open conversations and discussed many topics. Terry was always an active participant in the group. We are sorry that we are going to miss Terry, and it will be impossible to replace him. We remember his jokes, knowledge, and useful advice. Rest in Peace, my friend. You have left many good memories for us to remember you.
George Cherian.

Terry was a special friend, he was a travel companion in the world of skating with my mom, Lake Coochachong was one of their annual treks. Mom would come home to tell my dad tales of thier antics, and even though they never had a chance to meet my dad and Terry talked on the phone. When my dad passed suddenly Terry and the family embraced my family like thier own, treating my sister and I as his own.
Terry was a special gift to my family and will be missed.
