My Aunt Pat. Growing up what was great was she was the Aunt/Uncle who bridged the gap between the cousins and the Aunts/Uncles and a lot easier to talk to about up to date fun stuff. She had some cool cars, drove a stick shift and was into tennis, sports, listened to cool music and played cards. She helped me get my first real high school job at St. Joseph's with a medical records company. We lived in London never too far from her and saw her pretty regularly. Later on she helped me with my Dad and some of what he was going through and we would text every week sharing funny things and she would always have updates on my kids sports before I seemed to know. Since the pandemic we made a habit of going out every month or two to the Dawghouse and talk family, friends, sports, music, cards and all kinds of cool stuff, laugh at some of the regulars there and listen to me whine and offer her advice that felt good to hear from a close family member in the absence of my parents. To me she was a great Aunt and a friend. She will be dearly missed.
