Obituary of Gregory Williams

Peacefully, at LHSC Victoria Hospital on September 8, 2026, at the age of 76, Gregory Williams began his new journey. He was surrounded by family, his favourite music, and most importantly, love.

Devoted husband of the late Rosemary Candace Jamie Williams (February 22, 2025). Father of Vance Williams. Loving Dad of Roxanne, J.D. (Suzanne Mahabir-Williams), and Tania (Hugo Rodriguez). A father figure to Christopher Harper. Cherished grandfather of Shannon, Shane, Miasiah, Jaybeus, Arianah, Gabriella, and Samantha. Greg was looking forward to becoming a great-grandfather to two baby girls and had hoped for a chance to meet them upon their arrivals.

Greg was predeceased by his parents, William and Muriel Williams, and his brother, Douglas Williams. He leaves behind his sisters-in-law, Patricia Elwes-Couture, Theresa Wegg, Judy Mulholland, and Crystal Greene.

As a patriarch, Dad, Grandpa, Ol’ Boy, Uncle Greg, a.k.a. Guido & The Boogeyman, was always the life of the party and will always be remembered for his great knowledge of many subjects, his love for music, famous stories, random side jokes, and sarcasm. Greg embraced everyone as his own family, creating a warm and fun environment for all who knew him. His kindness and generosity touched the lives of many, and his spirit will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.

Inurnment will take place for both Gregory Williams and Rosemary Williams (née Mulholland) at Dorchester Union Cemetery on September 26, 2026, followed by a celebration of their lives and eternal lives together. Further details will be provided to friends and family.
