Obituary of Bruce Sydney Low

Bruce Sydney Low, 88 of St. Thomas Ontario passed away peacefully with family at his side.

Bruce was the third of four children born to the late Frank and Eva Low of Windsor, Ontario.

He is survived by his wife Kathryn, the love of his life for 67 years.

In Bruce’s words he is most proud to have raised 6 wonderful children, Shelley (Ed), Jeff (Deb), Susan (Steve), Chris (Julie), Greg (Jill), Holly (Vic) and Grandpa to 16 grandchildren and soon to be, 11 great grandchildren. “We have been absolutely blessed.”

He loved to spend time woodworking, creating various individualized, quirky pieces for the home and garden which he shared with family and friends.

Bruce was a very giving man.  He demonstrated this by volunteering his time at local hospitals.  He was also president of the South West Optimist Club of London in the early 1980’s.

Despite having several health challenges, Bruce was able to retain his witty sense of humor.

The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to Bruce’s health care team who provided home care with compassion and professionalism during his final weeks.
