I am sorry for the loss of a great friend , Al and I hit it off well and, among other things, we both enjoyed bush walks , especially with my big dog. The dog was hands down "my dog"....until she met Al. Then I became a distant second in importance. When I mentioned his name. She would run around and bark, then race like a creature possessed once we arrived at his place. In her eyes, the sun rose and fell on him. It is said that dogs have the infallible ability to detect those of special character who are worthy of their closest friendship. There are very few who are so honoured. But it was an 'instant thing' with Al...................and, she was right on the money ! I suspect right now, somewhere, a dog and a very close friend are hiking together in a wonderful, unexplored area. I miss you my friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you Laura. Rick
