After a lengthy illness the family sadly announces the passing of Eugene (Gene) Taylor peacefully at home on September 21, 2016. Loved husband and best friend of Gail, loving father to Kathryn and Terry, father-in-law to Lynne Taylor, brother of Harold Taylor, grandfather to Kaitlin (Lee) & Brock of Calgary, great grandfather to Lila Rose of Calgary, step father to Todd, Richard, and Scott (Lee Anne), step grandfather to Rodney, Brandon, Dixon, Tyler, Mackenzie and Shelby. Predeceased by his parents Albert & Laura, son Gerry (December 2013) and son in law Rheal (2015). Born and raised in London, he was involved in sports all his life. A celebration of his life will be held at the victory branch legion at 311 Oakland Ave. on Thursday September 29,2016 at 1:00pm. Cremation has already occurred. Donations may be made to Wellspring London and Region (382 Waterloo St. London, ON N6B 2N8).
