Dave often spent time with us in Stevensville where he quickly became friends with the locals, who affectionately referred to him as '"Uncle Buck". After my husband passed away, Dave and I kept in touch and I will really miss my "phone buddy". We talked a lot about our families and how proud we were of our kids and grandkids. He was a good and constant friend to Mike and I and we enjoyed spending time with him. My sincere condolences to Mary, his boys, their wives and grandkids and to his many friends. He will be sorely missed.
Rest in peace my friend.

So very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. We had many good laughs together when we belonged to the Ad and Sales Club many years ago, and during many of our golf games back then. He also enjoyed at that time playing golf in our Crime Stoppers golf tournament. I hadn't spoke to Dave in over a year, which I am sorry for now, but my thoughts of him and I had wondered off too far.
RIP my dear friend until we meet again.
Your friend

Mary, Mike and Jeff....I am so sorry for your loss. My memories of Dave go way back to my babysitting days. I used to babysit Mike and Jeff while Dave went to show houses as he was a Real Estate agent back then. I still remember the street he lived on and the stores across the road at that time. He would pick me up or drive me home and to this day, I still recall the "big mobile phone" he had in his car. Back then, only "important" people had such advanced devices. Although I eventually moved out of London, Dave was a very good friend of my parents and so I saw him most times I would visit from Toronto. He was always interested in what I was doing and would always speak of how proud he was of his kids. Dave's passing really hits me hard because he spent a lot of time with my dad while he was in hospice for esophageal cancer back in 2019. He was a good friend to my dad throughout his life and in his final days. Dave was kind, down to earth and always willing to help where he could. My sincerest condolences.

Dave was a huge part of Ron’s and my life for many years. They worked side by side on the farm and when farming ended, it was onto the golf range. Wednesdays became our weekly BBQ nights on the patio. When Ron passed away it was Dave who continued to visit and bring me Timmies and for that I will be forever grateful. Rest in peace my friend until we meet again.

Dave was my baseball coach for a long time, and a all around good man. He loved to see his boys play ball, and it was an honour to play with them as well. My foot isn't in the bucket anymore, Coach! Rest in peace.
