Obituary of Bonnie Thorne
Peacefully at Southampton Care Center, on April 2, 2024, Rosemary Yvonne "Bonnie" Thorne, of Tara. Beloved Wife of Roger James Thorne. Loving Mother to Ronald Thorne and his wife Judy Rhodes, Jay Thorne and his wife Deborah and the late Christopher Thorne. Dear Grandmother of Ryan, Amanda, Bryan and Caitlan, all of British Columbia. Loved Sister of Ruth Pearson and her husband Rob Pearson of Meaford. Predeceased by her brothers Bill (Marilyn) and Don (June) and infant brother Tommy. Dear sister in law of Elaine Thorne of Nova Scotia, Willard (Sharon) Thorne of St. Catherines, Janet (Gary Spirgal) of Sudbury, Anne (John Ten Hoppen) of Paisley, Sandra of Owen Sound, Helen of Newmarket, Cathleen of Owen Sound, Brenda of Tara and the late Helen (Lealand Hill), George, Douglas, Brian, Bruce and Lawrence Thorne. Bonnie will be missed by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Please join us to Celebrate Bonnie's Life at the Roger Thorne Pavillion in Tara Rotary Riverside Park on Saturday, June 15th from 1 - 4 pm. Cremation has taken place and interment will take place in Tara Cemetery. Memorial Donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.
