Obituary of Dean Alden Walker
Dean passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 02, 2024, at Parkwood Institute in London, Ontario, at the age of 70 after fighting a lengthy battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Cathy Walker. Loving stepfather of Steven Poirer (pre-deceased), Jeffrey Poirer (Jodi Rand), and Michelle Poirier (William McCully). Cherished grandfather of Tyler Poirer and Jayden McCully. Also survived by brother Jim McCormick, niece Tawny McCormick and nephew John Mac McCormick.
Dean was passionate and a devoted worker for 45+ years as a sheet metal mechanic. He was known for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work and perseverance. He will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.
The family would like to thank the palliative staff at Parkwood for their ongoing care during Dean’s hospital stay.
