Obituary of Douglas Morley Scoyne
Morley Douglas Scoyne "Doug" passed away peacefully at home in his 74th year with his best friend Linda Gaigneur and his sister Donna by his side. Born and raised in London, he was the devoted son to his late mother Jeane (Bicknell) and late father Morley.
Loving brother to Janet Housden (Tom) and Donna Proulx (Rob Saddington) and predeceased by his brother Norm. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews.
Doug was a kind man who enjoyed his weekly meetings with his luncheon buddies. He had a green thumb and spent many hours in his green house and gardens tending to his beautiful plants which he gladly gave to his neighbours and friends. He would willingly share any gardening tips with everyone. Hiis dog, Rusty, was his constant companion.
Thank you to all who reached out to Linda and his family at this trying time.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Doug's life will be held at The Fireside Restaurant 1166 Commissioners Rd. E., London on October 6th, 2024 from 2 - 5 pm. Memorial Donations to Salvation Army or any Pet Rescue Charity would be appreciated by his family.
