Obituary of Mary Theresa Anne Lister

Mary Theresa Anne Lister (nee Burgoyne), January 19, 1940 - April 29, 2016. Passed peacefully with family at her side at Parkwood Hospital after a short struggle with cancer. Loved by her best friend and partner Kelly as well as her sisters Sharon (Walt), Agnes, Maureen (Donnie), Rosemary (Steven), and Susan (Frank). Predeceased by her sister Catherine. Baabaa to Greg, Anne leaves behind a total of three grandchildren, three children, many nieces and nephews, her beloved cat Emma, and many friends. She had a special place in her heart for those at the Commissionaires Retirees Association, London. As per Anne’s wishes, she will be cremated, then interred in Fredericton, New Brunswick at a later date. There will be no local service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to either London Health Sciences Foundation towards cancer research, or St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation towards palliative care at Parkwood Hospital. Our heartfelt thanks for the compassionate care she received from doctors, nurses and staff at London’s hospitals, especially Parkwood.
