Obituary of Thomas Douglas Daniel

Thomas Douglas Daniel, 79, of Aylmer/London, Ontario, passed away on December 6th, 2024, in London Ontario surrounded by friends and family at Victora Hospital.
A celebration of life will be held by his daughter for immediate family at a future date. 

Tom was born in St Thomas Ontario to Sam and Louise Daniel on August 17th, 1945. He went to East Elgin Highschool and attended Fanshawe College in 1982. He worked many jobs in his 79 years including DaSilva’s, Bata Brands, and the City of London. He enjoyed fishing at Port Bruce, visiting Sharon’s Creek, adventuring in Port Stanley and was never far from his crossword puzzles.

 
Thomas is survived by his daughter Megan Daniel (Drope)and son in law Alex Drope, of London Ontario, Megan’s mother Sheila Kinnear of London Ontario, Brother Charlie Daniel and his wife Kathy Daniel of St Thomas Ontario, sister in law Joyce Daniel of Guelph Ontario, his niece Michelle Daniel, her son Kayden Bryan and her partner Paul Hutchinson of Guelph Ontario, his Niece Jen McMillan and her husband Steve McMillan of Springfield Ontario and their children Jordan, Michelle, Victoria and Mackenzie, Nephew James Jennings and his wife Mae Jennings of London Ontario and their children Moria, Clair and Penny,  and nieve Karie Jennings. He is preceded in death by his mother Louise Daniel and Father Sam Daniel of Aylmer Ontario, His sisters Carol and Rosemarry, and brother Clayton “Pix”.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the many nurses and doctors at Victoria Hospital (LHSC) for the
exceptional care given to Tom in his final weeks.
