I am so saddened to learn that Jimmy is gone from this world - it is the world's loss, and ours who knew him. Although our paths have not crossed for many years, he will forever live in my heart as one of the great people I have been fortunate to grace my life with his presence. Other than my daughter, no other person has ever changed the course of my life and path as Jimmy did for me - and I will continue to be eternally grateful to him as I have been since that fateful day I met him and Char, all those years ago in 1990. A whirlwind of many years let me places I would otherwise never have been and taught me more than I would have ever learned. My life is as it is in large part thanks to Jimmy. Thank you Zeljko, all love xo

Jimmy was a great guy and one of a kind. We were very lucky to have him as a neighbor and to have the chance to know him. He was always quick to come over with a sample of whatever he had made for dinner and to share a joke/story/rant in the way only Jimmy could do. We'll miss him and would like to express our condolences to his friends and family. Joe & Tevya

I met Jimmy only a month ago, yet I feel like we've been on countless adventures. Right off, I knew his zest for life was unmatched. Through an acquaintance, I was initially going to help set up some stereo equipment for Jimmy, but it ended up being a couple weeks worth of serious work. We shared a lot of laughs and tackled a few jobs together. He was smart to not over-exert himself, choosing to spend his energy visiting friends in the area and stopping off at some of his favorite places. I was more than happy to oblige. I appreciated his sense of fun, irreverence and joy of conversation. We had plans to have a jam session and I'm sad that we missed out on that. However, I did get to see that he was an accomplished player and very humble about it. My deepest condolences to all who knew and cared about him.
