Obituary of Kelly Lynn Grier

Kelly Lynn Grier age 55, passed away peacefully on Friday Nov.17, 2017 in the comfort of her own home surrounded by family. Beloved wife of 35 years to Colin Grier. Loving mother to Robin (Ryan), Victoria (Sahil), Whitney (Jason) and Adam (Maggie). Grandmother to Kaleb and Landon. Predeceased by her Mother and Father and survived by siblings Diana, Donna, Debbie, Jimmy, Bud, and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Para Med and VON home services for their care given in Kelly's final days. A Celebration of Kelly's Life will be held on Sunday Nov.26, 1-4pm at the Best Western Lamplighter Inn at 591 Wellington Rd. London. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, or The Salvation Army. Kelly was born and raised in London, where she met and married Colin on September 18, 1982. They moved to Bornholm in 1989 and built a beautiful home together with their 4 children.Anyone who met Kelly, knew that she was a very kind and loving person. She was a devoted wife who stood by Colin through thick and thin. Even during her final days, she provided strength and courage to our family to prepare us for her completion of life. She wanted everyone to remember the good times and happy memories shared with her. Being a stay at home mother and raising her children brought the greatest joy and pride to her life. She loved the outdoors, caring for the numerous pets on the farm, gardening and camping. She was very artistic, creating beautiful cross stich needle works which adorned the walls of our home. Kelly had a sweet tooth and made the best pie crust, brownies and chocolate chip cookies.

She will be greatly missed by many, and forever live on in our hearts and prayers.
