Obituary of Dennis Michael Goodmurphy

Dennis) Michael Goodmurphy in his 75th year died peacefully at Victoria 
Hospital, London, Ontario on Tuesday July 31st. Devoted husband of Catherine 
for 51 years. Pre deceased by his son Fraser (2012). Survived by his son 
Scott, wife Dawna Lynn, grandchildren Ashley, Tyler and Amber, his siblings, 
his family and many friends. Michael dedicated his career to working as a 
professor at Fanshawe College for 26 years where he coordinated the Early 
Childhood program before moving into a management position. He contributed 
to the community for many years by serving on various boards, including 
London Children's Connection. He was an active member of North Park Church 
where he held various leadership roles over 40 years. His family wish to 
thank  the palliative care team and especially his medical oncologist Dr 
Potvin and radiologist  Dr Sexton  for the wonderful care he received. 
Cremation has already taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at 
North Park Church on Saturday August 18th at 11am. Donations graciously 
accepted in his memory to  Prostate Cancer Canada or a charity of your 
choice.
