SUSAN SEARA-MANN

Sue, 72, passed away at University Hospital on Apr. 3rd, from the ravages of COPD.  She enjoyed a Jesse Cook concert, and shortly after, failed.

Born in Kirkland Lake to late parents Audrey and Alan Mann, moved to London at an early age.

Sue is survived by her loving son Brandon, partner Andrea and cherished granddaughter Nala of Montreal, and by loving son Christopher of Vancouver.  Also survived by her favourite sister Helen, husband Smokey Smith of Verner, Ont. and ex-husband Joe Seara.

Sue was a lab technician at Victoria and U.H hospitals, working with the transplant team and published on the study of aspirin re: strokes and heart attacks. Later was successful in sales of medical equipment. She loved to travel, making it to many parts of the world with a myriad of friends. Shortly after marrying Joe, they moved to Seville Spain, where her boys were born. Sue moved back to London in 1989 to look after her parents. Living many years with COPD, she was supported and loved by close and life long friends, especially Rhonda, Cathy, Paula, Lianne and Molly, and her cuddly cats. Sue will be missed by many friends and lots of cousins. Her wishes were for her body to be donated to the Schulich School of Medicine, at U.W.O. Susan also wished for no funeral service. Her biggest wish would be for everyone to sign their organ donor cards. Thank to all the doctors and nurses in I.C.U. at U.H. for everything they have done over her four stays in the last two and a half years. For more information please contact Helen.
