Robert Ernest Davey, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Meadow Park Nursing Home in London, Ontario on January 13, 2015.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer of 2015 where family and friends can attend and share stories and anecdotes.
Robert E. Davey was born in Montreal Quebec in 1925. He served in the Navy at the age of 18, then went on to raise a family of 5, and held various management positions in Quebec and Ontario up to retirement. After retirement, he volunteered tirelessly with Family and Children Services (FACS), the Salvation Army, Meals on Wheels, and the Red Cross.
He enjoyed the Morgan’s Point Campground in the Niagara region with family and friends every summer for many years.
Beloved husband to the late Marguerite Christina Davey, beloved father to Robert Jr. (Liddy), Keith (Emily), Dorothy (Terry), Ken (Terry) and John (Susan) as well as 11 Grand Children and 12 Great Grand children.
Memorial donations can be made to The Salvation Army.
