Obituary of Clemens Van Beest
Clemens “Clem” Van Beest died peacefully in University Hospital on October 19, 2019 in London Ontario at the age of 73. Clem was born on February 7, 1946 in Sassenheim, Netherlands.
Clem is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years Elsie, son Bob (Jennifer), daughter Susan (Barry), grandchildren Gavin, Amy, Elise and Zac; brothers John (Riet), Fred, and sisters Riet, Dinny(Alphons) and Ann (John). He is preceded in death by father Adrian, mother Maria and brother Rudy (Teresa).
Cremation has taken place. An informal Celebration of Life is scheduled for Sunday, November 3rd from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at TheMarconi Club, Columbo Hall; 120 Clarke Road, London. All are welcome to attend, share memories and celebrate Clem’s life. As a tribute to Clem and his larger than life personality, Hawaiian or colourful shirts are encouraged to be worn.
