Douglas Harvey Lewis
Peacefully in his home on Tuesday July 14, 2020 in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Diane.
Adored stepfather of Jennifer Woelk and Jeff Woelk (Michelle). Treasured Papa of Alex, Ava and Ella.
Pre-deceased by his parents Arnold and Elsie Lewis and sisters Betty Ann Martin and Helen Rodgers. Survived by sisters Joan Finkbeiner (Bob), Brenda Smith (Fred), Aunt Dot, cousins Phil and Larry Lewis and extended family. Cherished and life-long friend of Kenny, Danny, Wes, Walter, Frank and John.
Pre-deceased by close friends Matt and Luke Also loved by Josh, Austin and Jake.
Doug started his life-long career as a barber in 1969 at London Barber College. He went on to own Great Cuts in two different locations in London, ON. Not only was he a skilled barber, he was a great conversationalist. He spent over 50 years in the industry with many clients keeping in touch and getting haircuts even after retirement. Doug loved golf and being in the great outdoors fishing and camping with the guys. He was a great cook. Family dinners and barbeques were something Doug always cherished.
Doug touched so many peoples lives and as a result will be greatly missed by all.
As per Doug’s’ wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life to follow at a later date.
