Obituary of James Philip Yeoman

It is with heavy hearts, that the family of James (Jim) Philip Yeoman announce his passing on Tuesday August 18, 2020. Jim was born on April 21, 1937 to Cecil and Jean (McLarty)Yeoman in London Ontario. He was employed at D.H. Howden for the majority of his working career. And he also enjoyed working the gates during the Wester Fair. Jim's enjoyed woodworking, antique cars and spending time with his family and friends. Jim was proceeded in death by his father, Cecil, his mother, Jean (McLarty), his brother, Murray. He is survived by his daughter, Kim (Chris) Jones, his son, Chris (Emily), his grandchildren, Samantha, Matthew, Megan, Holly, Linden, his sister in law, Pauline, niece, Tammy, nephew Rob (Lorna) plus many friends. The family would like to give a huge THANK YOU to the team at Valleyview Home in St. Thomas for their never ending care for Jim. The staff has made his time at the home very fulfilling and eventful. We would like to especially Thank those who work in the Grand Trunk wing. He had a nickname for you all and we are sure you will all miss his "grumpy" sarcastic whit. We appreciate everything you have done ??. A small family service has already taken place at Woodland Cemetery & Crematorium. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations can be made to the Residences Council of Valleyview Home in St. Thomas. "I am at peace, my soul's at rest. There is no need for tears. For with your love I was so blessed for all those many years."
