Obituary of Nicholas Filici

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of Nicholas “Nico” Filici at the age of 30.
Beloved son of Miguel and Marietta. Loved brother of Omar and Nina and brother-in-law to Robert.
Caring uncle to Layla, Madison, and Robbie. Precious nephew of Jimmy, Juan, Vilma, Aurora, Luis, Julio,
Claudia and their families. He leaves behind his precious fur baby Marvin, who will stay with his family.
He will be greeted at the pearly white gates by his Grandparents Carmen and Augusta, brother-in-law
Cory, Great Grandma Louise, friends gone too soon - Tilley, Chase, Matt and Jeff.
His talent and music were shared around the world and loved by many. He did everything with his full
heart and soul. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need and had a heart of gold. His Zest
for life will be remembered by the many funny stories, fond memories, and good times - there is no
shortage of these when we think about Nico! Shine bright like the STAR you are!

Cremation has taken place. The celebration of life will be announced at a later date, due to Covid19

restrictions.

In lieu of flowers and because of his love for Music, we ask that donations in Nico’s name be made to
Aeolian Hall: El Sistema Patron Program, supporting youth and musical arts in our community.
