Obituary of Henry Linker

May 30, 1941 – January 14, 2021
Was carried peacefully into eternity after a brief battle with COVID-19. Henry leaves behind his devoted wife of 56 years, Anne, his son Ron (Nancy), and daughter Laura (Martin) Ricciotti. Dearest grandpa to Stephanie (Craig) DeBoer, Melissa (Sean) Coleshill, Kristen (Jay) VanderPloeg, Shiloh Ricciotti, Steel (Lisa) Ricciotti, Jubilee (Mark) Reed and Storm Ricciotti. Proud great-grandpa to Josiah, Rory, Henry, Jane and Nora. Henry was a faithful member of Westmount Christian Reformed Church. He was self-employed as a roofer in Strathroy for many years. Henry had a quick wit, a wonderful sense of humour and always had a joke or funny story to tell. Predeceased by his parents Trynco & Jantje, brothers Harry, Klaas (Patsy) and Bart, and sisters Dien VanKampen and Ann Feddema. He will be greatly missed by his surviving siblings Jean (the late Dick) DeRuiter, John (Helen) Linker, and JoAnne (Tom) Abma, as well as many nieces and nephews. Due to current lockdown restrictions, a private virtual family service will be held. A celebration of Henry’s life will be held at a future date.
