Obituary of Marguerite Mildred Thornton

Peacefully at home, Marg lost her battle with Alzheimer’s Disease at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband of 50 years Thomas Thornton and her daughter Betty Anne Laur. Loving grandmother of Michael Laur and Stephanie Laur (Jim). Proud great Grandmother of Lindsay, Emily, Alyssa and Cassandra. Loved and celebrated by many long time friends and family, and co-workers from Eatons. Friends and relatives are invited to join us to celebrate Marg’s life, and share memories and friendship. There will be a short memorial service at 7 p.m. on Wednesday May 21 2014, followed by a visitation until 9 p.m at the Glendale Crossings Nursing home Chapel 3030 Singleton Ave. In lieu of flowers, any donations to support the Alzheimer’s Society of London Middlesex w ill be appreciated.Online condolences may be made at www.affordablefuneraloptions.ca.
