Obituary of Jennifer Leigh Lockhart

LOCKHART, Jennifer Leigh January 18, 1959 -
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our mother, Jennifer Leigh Lockhart, on June 4 2021 at 721pm.
Jennifer was the daughter of The late Harold (1987) and Betty Lockhart, Fredericton, NB. She is predeceased by her brother, Fred Lockhart (2015).
Jennifer is survived by her husband, David Bidlake, son, Arthur Day and daughter, Idalyn Spina, all of London, ON.
She will be greatly missed by her four grandchildren, Catelyn, Catherine, Jillian and Nicholas.
Jennifer is also survived by 7 sisters and 2 brothers.
Jennifer grew up in Fredericton, NB and was a graduate of Algonquin College, Perth, ON, furthering her studies at Loyalist College, Belleville, ON.
Jennifer was employed at London Health Sciences Centre for the past 25 years and enjoyed her work immensely.
Jennifer actively volunteered in her community, with the Canadian Forces Base Trenton Children’s Summer Program, Hospice London Palliative Care and the London Optimist Club.
She enjoyed gardening and playing her accordian.
Thanks to the London Regional Cancer Program for their support and compassionate care.
Special thanks to her sisters, Coleen Lockhart (Fredericton, NB) and Maureen Walsh, (Toronto, ON), for their loving support during her lengthy illness.
There will be no visitation or service in keeping with her wishes. A private memorial for immediate family will take place at a later date.
