Obituary of Cheri Lynn Bates

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we, as a family, announce the passing of our precious daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, granddaughter and friend. 

Left to mourn Cheri's loss are her loving and always supportive parents, Bob and Judy Bates, sister Kimberly Ann Reid (Joe), daughter Summer Julianna Bates (Brent), sons Tristan Lawrence and Christian William Agar, grandparents Joyce and Bill Bates, beloved nieces Hunter Ann and Harlee Maria Reid, and her very special aunt Winnie. Cheri is predeceased by her grandparents Margaret and Don Lawrence. 

Cheri will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Kamren Lawson ad Ryleigh Rose, many cousins, aunts, uncles and many special people that prayed for Cheri throughout her life journey. 

Cheri will always be remembered for her kind, gentle soul. An angel of sort, gift from God to us all., who struggled with life's challenges but is now at peace with her Lord and saviour. She will truly be missed and loved for evermore.

A celebration of life will take place on Monday, June 13th at 1:00 P.M. at Ferndale Bible Church (25 Ferndale Ave., Peterborough, Ontario). Officiated by Pastor Peter Kenniphaas. The family would like to welcome friends and family to a reception afterwards.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Canadian Mental Health or an addiction organization would be appreciated by the family.
