My heartfelt condolences to Joan’s family and loved ones. Joan was one of the most impactful people in my life. I am deeply grateful for her love, guidance, and insights. She was a knowledgeable, wise and powerful healer who lived true to herself. Joan changed my life forever by introducing me to the realm of Spirit and angels in a way that brought deep meaning and transformation to my life. So sad to learn Joan has passed. She did some work for me, but the work was her passion in helping others to make sense of their circumstances. She was an absolute treasure to those who new of her, and her strong but gentle spirit along with her deep, deep wisdom is what I remember her most for. May her spirit fly high and far into the skies; a bright light to join the stars.

When living in London and even after leaving, Joan was an inspiration, a teacher, a direct line of the intuitive and a being of endless wisdom. She was a beacon of light not only for myself but for the community and beyond. Her open hearted approach made every encounter memorable. As others have also expressed, I too feel that Joan is still the same now although on a different level of being ~ even more so her light is brighter.

It is with sadness that I hear of Joan's sudden passing. I saw her very little over the last decade, having moved away from the London area. However, her gifts and her kindness remained with you regardless of the time past. To this day, I feel blessed to still have copies of her wonderfully rich and insightful astrology charts. Joan was an incredible woman, who lived her truth and did so much healing work (as mentioned by others)for our community. She taught Ayurveda for our Teacher Training program at The Lotus Centre and I always appreciated her calm, clear presence and the light and inspiration she brought forth in her teaching. Thank you Joan for all your generous and gentle teachings. Joan was the light that came into my life at a time of terrible darkness. Her knowledge, intuitive wisdom and caring was a life line. Her open hearted and deep spirituality not only made so much sense to me, but was exactly what I needed to hear. I shall never forget our Tuesday mornings together, the laughs and the intimate stories of our lives we shared. Joan was my teacher for many years. She was my mentor, my crystal healing practitioner, my confidant. Joan was one of my best friends. She inspired me to seek out the Light within myself and others on deep levels. I have beautiful memories of sitting with Joan every two weeks sharing our challenges and our enlightening experiences just before she would begin her crystal healing treatment. Joan was and is a multidimensional being who continues to bring infinite wisdom to a three dimensional world. Our time together ceremoniously began with Joan sharing the most recent photos and stories of her nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Her family and especially these dear children meant the world to Joan and her face shone brightly when she talked about them. Joan had numerous aspects and thrived on several diverse careers but she was always a Lightworker. Some friends I’ve talked with remember Joan for her Ayurvedic cooking and the delicious meals she would prepare. Others remember her for her book store. Many remember Joan for her astrological charts she prepared meticulously charting very in-depth information. I don’t know anyone more knowledgeable about astrology than Joan. I remember her most for her crystal healing therapy and the ascension experience she brought to my life. There is a huge community of people who like me, will miss her physical presence and her Goddess energy but I know that wherever she is, her spirit shines bright as she continues her work in the higher dimensions. Mostly, I will miss her loving, gentle hugs and blessings. As much as I miss Joan’s physical presence, her Light Essence continues to fill my heart. Forever in my heart and soul Irene Douglas
