Obituary of Vivien Lilian James

Please share a memory of Vivien to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Peacefully, surrounded by family, on August 17th, Vivien James in her 101st year.  Loving mother of Patricia MacLean (Don) of London and Linda Tschopp-James (Jürg) of Basel, Switzerland.  Beloved wife of Harold James (1991).  Sadly missed and fondly remembered by Jennifer, Ian, Liam and Carly Hutchinson of Oakville and many members of the Furlonger family. Vivien was born November 20, 1921 in Wandsworth, England.

She served in the RAF during World War II, driving ambulances. She met her future husband, Harold (Jesse) James who was flying with the RAF as a member of the RCAF.  Following the end of the war, they moved to London, Ontario. Vivien managed several bakeries for Bell Noll (later Hunts' Bakeries).

Many thanks to London - Middlesex Paramedics, the staff and doctors at LHSC and Dr. Vashti Tupper for her many years of care and support. At Vivien's request, there will not be visitation or service. Cremation has taken place.
